A guide for don't get pissed off play GunZ.

Specially useful in Brazilian Servers, although it can be useful in any.

Noobs, Turtles, Sprayers, Lungers, Flippers, Talk Killers, Kill
Stealers... Everybody hates some kind of player or other. And when
they're good, they can really let you pissed off!

Ever felt like facing a dude and feeling like you won't rest while you don't humiliate that faggot?

Well, here I'll teach you something more useful than spam the chat with
cursed, or being so blind for revenge that you get killed before you
could deliver the final blow: EXPLOITING THEIR WEAKNESSES!

So, let's find out how to recognize your menace and defeat them:

(P.S.: FRAG and KILL means the same here)


Who they Are: The cheapest kind of player, he's the guy who
lacks mastery of any style, so he gets a machine-gun, revolvers,
grenades, dagger, and almost no armor, and enter the rooms trying to
steal the most frags he can. After he steals your kill from a enemy,
he'll usually tell you something like "CRY, NB", or "STFU n play ur
biatch!".

How to defeat: Noobs usually lacks any kind of technique, so the
easiest way to kill them is defending his shots (since most of them
also don't know shooting on legs is not defenseable) and BF him to the
death. What can also work is a RS. Or maybe if you can snipe them from
afar. Blow his ass out with a grenade. He's so stupid he won't know
half of the techniques. Now if he is a good player, then you should
relax and fight for fun against him. Believe me, this always works.
After that, he's going to say "So u think ure good, huh? what about
1v1?" Then, if you accept and keep following the fun line, probably
you'll exit the 1v1 with a 5/0 score.


Who they Are: Turtling is a K-Style Technique (often used by
me), but some guys pass the whole match with the shift pressed. These
guys focus on a Instant Kill Technique, since they'll massive you (if
they have Winscar, watch out for WIF's), then use a IF, or a juggle,
and while you're down, RS your head out.

How to defeat: Turtles? Do you really need this? They're the
easiest ones to kill, just get close and give them a RS on their legs,
but don't aim too much, or he'll notice. Another option is to spray his
legs out, but this can mean he'll try to spray you out (making him a
noob) or counter attack you with K-Style (making him a K-Styler).


Who they Are: They often have no aim. Are completely stupid,
entering in the middle of a shootout with their MG's. Can sometimes
also use a grenade.

How to defeat: Sprayers usually know the defense trick, so
they'll aim your legs when you start blocking. However, use it to get a
little closer, or make a wallrun to it. Sword usually overcomes him
since he doesn't really knows K-Style often.


Who they Are: Flippers prefer Katana over
Kodachi, but that isn't a rule. Found usually in maps like Island or
Dungeon, near a cliff, flipping like hell trying to kill someone. They
also use Juggling or IF's.

How to defeat: Most of the times you can jump to dodge a
flip, however sometimes near a cliff it won't work, since you can't
dash after jumping. Against a juggle, When he flip you, try to turn
180°, or spam jump and flip. Don't use N style. (although I'm not
really sure of what N-Style Is. ), unless keep
jumping and trying to avoid the boring faggot. A cool technique is
killing them from afar. In pursuits, a SS or a K-Style YoYo-Hop (same
as SS but dashing AFTER the shot, making they think the SS failed, but
it hadn't.) will do the trick. Also, NEVER jump and massive them.
Chances of suicide are of 80% doing so.


Who they Are: Lungers get Daggers, Machine Guns, and Revolvers
or Shotguns to the battlefield. Their main tactic is to lunge their
targets to the ground and then using the major damage weapons.

How to defeat: Did you know Lunge is like the flip right? But
did you also know that Lunge can ALSO be dodged? and the same way as
Katanas? As soon as someone lunges you, jump like hell and you won't
fall. However, you'll still take some damage, so it's best to simply
dodge it. Then, while he recovers from the lunge and tries to aim where
you should have fell, spray him to death or RS him.


Who they Are: They won't hesitate in killing anyone with a baloon over head.

How to defeat: Don't talk! or simply press the Fire Button
(A.k.a. "the-respawn-one"), this will close the chat window without
deleting your previous message, allowing you to fight back. However a
safer method is hiding in a safe place before talking or using macros
like my "Please Wait!!!"


Who they Are: You need to difference the accidental KSings from the intended ones.

How to defeat: Well, if it was an accident, I guess it can't be
helped, but if he hides in some place waiting for you to weaken some
target so he can deliver the final blow... Well. He's a stupid. GunZ is
never so calm to allow that, but even if it end up being so, just kill
him after the steal.


Who they Are: Some people hates them. They are the guys who can
go up huge walls in a matter of seconds and chop you in confetti in
about the same time. You'll recognize them when you hear someone
talking to him "Hey dude, stop jumping like a monkey!"

How to defeat: K-Stylers usually are very stylish, their sword
focus on removing AP, and their shotguns in draining HP. The best way
to defeat one is combining every technique in your arsenal. A bit of
Turtle, a bit of Back Massive, of Spraying, of JSD/BF, of
Dagger/Korean-Style... But making they all so confuse he won't know
when one technique finishes and the other begins.


Who they Are: Some people hates them. They are the guys who can
stab you in a million different ways in about so much time as a
K-Styler. D-Stylers are surely fast, but not so tricksters.

How to defeat: D-Stylers are fast, but sticky to the ground, so
use that in your advantage. Try baiting them to lunge you, since it
deals in a GREAT disadvantage if he misses, since you'll use the
opportunity to deal the most damage you can. If he locks you up in a
corner, quickly get your sword and start defending aiming everywhere
until he misses, and then massiving him in a counter attack. Another
option is spraying him from afar with a precise weapon, or a risky one,
getting closer and RSing him.


Who they Are: Some people hates them. They're often mistaken
with the sprayers, but unlike them, E-Stylers have tactics. They're the
hardest to define, since they haven't a fixed equipment and also
haven't a defined tactic. However something they all share in common.
They never got themselves in a risky situation, and when they do, they
run away ASAP.

How to defeat: E-Style basic headline is a precise weapon, a
spray weapon, lightweight katanas, and a lot of hide&seek. You'll
never spot one of these in the middle of a shootout, they'll be usually
far away sniping everyone down with his revolvers. Most of them also
know K-Style, so facing directly is not always a good option. Usually,
they won't use daggers, because it's got no defense, and won't use
Kodachi because they're heavy.
